Looking for wellness in Bormio? Thanks to its natural springs, Bormio has always been famous for its healing waters. For centuries, the ancient springs have made Bormio the perfect destination for healthy, relaxing holidays.
The name Bormio is thought to derive from an ancient Celtic word for ‘warm’ which probably related to the warm thermal waters that flow naturally from our mountains. These springs are several millennia old, with records dating back to Roman times. Thanks to their natural warmth (they rise at between 36° and 41°, depending on the time of year) they provide a lasting feeling of complete relaxation and regeneration. Today, the spas of Bormio are places which unite the pleasures of a mountain holiday with the exceptional properties of the Alpine waters.
There are three spa centres, offering something for everyone
