Or the dense, fragrant larch forests at Oga. And above all (literally!) are the snow-capped summits of the mighty Ortles standing out against the clear blue sky. The valleys of Bormio boast more than 600 km of footpaths and hiking trails with a range of difficulty levels. Each valley has its own unique aspects, such a steep rockfaces and gentle slopes, species of plants and flowers which are unique to the valley and animals which only breed in a specific period in that particular area. After all, we are in the Stelvio National Park!
These areas are not difficult to get to, quite the opposite! You just need some comfortable shoes and plenty of enthusiasm to explore nature.
