As well as offering a challenge for cyclists, the Stelvio is also much-loved by skiers.
An icon which everyone in Bormio is rightly proud of. A place which combines history, skiing, cycling, sporting champions and wild, untamed nature. For Bormio, the Stelvio is much more than just a mountain, part of the Stelvio National Park, on the border between Lombardy and the German-speaking Italian province of South Tyrol. A total of 40 scenic hairpin bends lead you up from Bormio to an altitude of 2,758 m, leaving you breathless (in every sense!).
