A snowy adventure. One of our favourite activities in winter is to set off into the forests in the surrounding valleys when they are covered in a thick white blanket of snow. With snowshoes or snow spikes, a normal everyday walk is transformed into a journey through a fairytale landscape.
In Bormio, the bright summer days of winter are best enjoyed outside in the open air. When the snow falls, covering the valleys of Bormio and the forests of the Stelvio National Park, the urge to set off on an adventure is irresistible. Snowshoe or snow spikes walks are an ideal way to enjoy the trails around Bormio when they are covered with snow and have long been a very popular way to enjoy the mountains in winter.
Spoiled for choice
