The Santa Caterina Valfurva ski area boasts:
- 35 km of pistes in the heart of the Stelvio National Park
- 8 ski lifts, including the 8-seater Valle dell’Alpe gondola lift and the 4-seater chairlift to the top of Monte Sobretta
- 1 area with a magic carpet lift, ideal for beginners learning under the guidance of the ski and snowboard instructors
- 1 sledging and tobogganing run
If speed is your thing, do not miss the most famous piste in the resort, the Pista Deborah Compagnoni, dedicated to the three-time Olympic gold medallist from Santa Caterina Valfurva. This slope is also open at night, under floodlights, when you can also enjoy a drink in one of the mountain huts and take in the views of Santa Caterina Valfurva at night.
The resort is open for skiing until the end of April.
Winters still last a long time here. Plenty of snow falls each year and the temperatures still typical of winter. So the snow is always in perfect condition from November until the end of April.
