This outing starts in Pra di Piaz, in Sondalo, near the still active Quartz quarry. The trail passes along the meadow's edge and then enters a fir forest until the locality of Fiecc. After a short steep stretch, you reach the Li Mota huts where the fir forest gives way to one of larch. The destination for this route is Li Moregn, from which you can admire the entire Sondalo basin, sweeping down towards Tirano and up to the Mortirolo pass.
