Pizzo Paradisino

From Campacciolo in the vicinity of Albergo Forcola follow the road to the bridge over the Spol stream, without crossing it go left along a short, slightly downhill stretch that leads to a wide plateau to the left of the stream, then with a logical path pass near the La Motte hut (1960 m) and then continue on a semi-flat path to Alpe Vago (1998 m). You pass the small bridge over the stream and enter the Vago Valley on the hydrographic left. The first section has a gradual slope, while the second is steeper and midslope and should be walked only with stable snow, thus arriving at the entrance to the Campo Valley. This section can be avoided by passing on the opposite side of the valley, that is, without crossing the small bridge leading to Alpe Vago, continue halfway up the hillside a short distance from the river until you come in front of an icy waterfall on the opposite side of the valley. You then descend diagonally to the stream and pass it, taking you to the right of the waterfall and then ascend with short switchbacks and then to the left, thus entering Val di Campo. The ascent along Val di Campo becomes gentler and you continue leaving the inviting steep little valley on the left to reach up to about 2600 m altitude thus passing the gentle ridge to the east leading just above Paradisino Lake. From here in a southerly direction you will reach the vicinity of the Colle di Val Mera (2672 m) and follow the wide ridge that leads losing a few meters of elevation gain on the glacier (vedretta da Camp). At this point the final route, is clear and obvious. One heads toward the Pala (Small rocky relief on the S ridge of Pizzo Paradisino between the Pizzo itself and Corno di Campo) until where the slope becomes steep and then bends to the left halfway up, arriving on the ridge that leads to the south ridge. You follow it then traverse to the left reaching the small col (This very steep section is sometimes best done on foot). You leave your skis and take the Val Viola side and with easy climbing near the S ridge, you reach the summit.
