Facile escursione abitualmente battuta dai turisti che frequentano Chiareggio che si puo' effettuare sia in senso orario che antitorario. Da Chiareggio si raggiunge Pian del Lupo e , dopo il ponte sul torrente della valle del Muretto, il maggengo Forbesina, dove ci si immette per un breve tratto sul percorso dell' Alta Via verso est. Superato il ponte poco oltre la confluenza dei torrenti Sissone e Ventina, si prende il sentiero a sinistra che fiancheggia il torrente verso valle fino a prevenire al ponte che da accesso alla strada per l'alpe Ventina dove si chiude l'anello.
