Casa Braulio, in the heart of Bormio, has an underground treasure waiting to be discovered: a few metres below the pavement of Via Roma, there is an extraordinary labyrinth that houses 319 Slavonian oak barrels in which Amaro Braulio is aged, in an underground space of 1,600 square metres.
The cellars can be visited with prior reservation, as they still house the production of Amaro Braulio. The visit, amidst antique barrels and light installations, offers a sensory experience in which aromas and flavours are enhanced at every step: from the infusion room to the mountain botanicals room to the final tasting, it is an immersive place that allows you to discover the production and ageing process that makes Braulio unique and whose recipe remains a secret to this day.
A unique place where you can experience the essence of the bond with Bormio and its alpine territory, the tradition that the Peloni family has been preserving and handing down since 1875, and the craftsmanship that still takes the time to allow its bitter to age for a long time in oak barrels to give it that unique and distinctive flavour.
