Try ski touring with these medium difficulty routes, touring these beautiful, snow-covered valleys with knowledge and awareness.
Ski touring is a sport with a long tradition but it is also very fashionable among skiers who love the call of the mountains. It offers a never-ending source of excitement, adventure and discovery of new mountains and scenery. Remember, however, that whilst ski touring is a wonderful sport, it is also a hazardous one. You need the right equipment and knowledge of the area and the route you have selected, as well as up-to-date information on the snow conditions.
Take care when assessing the difficulty of the route and the equipment required. We recommend taking crampons, an ice axe and self-rescue equipment (avalanche beacon, shovel and probe).
If you need any advice, please get in touch with local Alpine Guides. They can provide information about basic techniques and how to approach the mountains safely. You can also contact them for advice on hiring or purchasing equipment in specialist shops.
