Like the previous route, this one is double: the main objective is Val Torreggio and Rifugio Bosio, the second is amazing Alpe Pirlo. It is long, with a big difference in altitude but no excessive climbs, just a few steep bits over 10%. After the first part from Chiesa on tarmac towards Primolo, the first hairpin marks the start of the real climb, still on tarmac, followed by concrete and a rough track and countless hairpins through the woods, coming out on the vast plain of Alpe Lago and on the right bank into Val Torreggio. A long crossing on compact terrain brings you to Alpe Airale and Rifugio Bosio on a splendid plain with views of the red rocks of Corni Bruciati. Just after Alpe Lago on the way back down, at the first hairpin take the route to the left to Alpe Giumellino and Alpe Pirlo with its lovely little lake.
