Da Prato Valentino, stupendo terrazzo affacciato sulle Alpi Orobiche, si inizia a percorrere il tracciato in direzione ovest mantenendosi sul sentiero che attraverso le case nelle vicinanze della Baita del Sole che ci permette di raggiungere un primo cartello segnaletico e raggiunta una soprastante strada ed un nuovo cartello segnavia, e' possibile percorrere ancora in salita il tracciato fino a giungere in localita' Saline e Dos Lau'. Da questo punto seguendo la cartellonistica si ridiscende a Prato Valentino.
