The Stelvio National Park Visitors Centre provides an overview of the natural and human aspects of the Park.
The visit is guided by a large navigation wall visible from all three floors of the centre.
The wall shows images of some of the most important aspects of the Park, divided into three main themes: fauna, landscape and flora, anthropic structures.
These three themes are developed in the exhibition areas through information panels, exhibits and a series of multimedia stations.
It is possible both to deepen one's knowledge on single themes and to explore/navigate between the different themes in order to realize the richness of interactions between all the components, natural and human, that make up the Park as a whole.
A special space is dedicated to the Bearded Vulture, a great vulture reintroduced to the Alps after its extinction at the beginning of the 20th century.
The multimedia theatre "Le stagioni del Parco" (The seasons of the Park) is an immersive projection that gives a highly engaging story of the Park's environments, as they evolve over the 4 seasons and "I Sentieri dello Stelvio in Virtual Reality" (The Stelvio Paths in Virtual Reality), a touch station - which allows you to virtually walk along the main paths of the Park.
